Enneagram Type 1

The Enneagram is just a tool to simply help individuals understand their personalities and identify patterns of the lives.  Improving self-awareness and recognizing re-occurring traits is especially attractive to an enneagram type 1.  An Enneagram Type 1 is commonly called “The Perfectionists,” and more recently, as “The Improver.” The enneagram type 1 or “perfectionist” personality is made a decision to uphold specific values and standards they deem essential; however, they often feel it's important to justify their behavior.  Enneagram ones can lead successful lives by achieving their goals; however, they can be too strict on themselves and others along the way without awareness.
